About IPAW

Interstate Partners for Animal Welfare (IPAW) is committed through fostering, adoption, and community awareness initiatives, to preventing the unnecessary euthanizing of cats and dogs that are at great risk in high kill shelters across the United States.

Who We Are

As a lifelong animal lover, Leslie started IPAW in 2014 in order to rescue as many cats and dogs as possible from high kill shelters. She is passionate about animal rights and about stopping animal cruelty. She currently has 5 rescue cats named Axel, Mona, Olive, Bella, and Buster, as well as a foster fail dog named Mack.

What We Do

We SAVE, SUPPORT, and TRANSPORT.

We pull dogs and cats from high kill shelters to avoid them being euthanized. We help fund their vet care and their boarding when necessary. We also help transport them when the foster/adopter is not local to the location of the pet.

How We Do It

We rely on donations and fosters to make sure we save as many animals as possible. Any donation amount is helpful and all donations go directly to covering the costs of boarding and vet care.
